We find ourselves in a situation that few would have anticipated a few months ago.  I realise that the Government has advised all people over 70 years of age, and with some existing conditions to self isolate - probably for 4 months or more.  I don't know about you, but I would go stir crazy if I couldn't get some fresh air most days.  To that end, the allotment site is remaining open as usual.  I would ask, however, that when you come down to your plot you keep away from other plot holders.  Smile and wave, but please don't go up and chat.

As regards the monthly inspections, David Pendleton and I have agreed we will continue with these as usual (as long as we're both well).  However we DO appreciate that some of you may not be able to get down to the site as often as you would like.  Will you PLEASE let me know if you have to self isolate due to sickness (I do so hope none of you is affected).

If any of you need help - not just with your plot but perhaps with shopping - again please let me know and the Association will do what it can.

Lastly - we were due to hold the Food and Drink Quiz on 24th April.  I strongly suspect that will have to be postponed, not least because our venue may be closed. Watch this space.

Stay safe all of you.
